Hi Mark

I too have the Saab MC on my car and I can say that my brakes are better 
than on the stock unit. Since the rear tires are much larger than the front 
and most of the weight on the rear it works really good. During hard braking 
the front locks up slightly before the rear so the balance is good.
There is a trick to bleed the air completely out of the front calipers. I 
had trouble with my brakes where after replacing everything the pedal would 
stay soft no matter what. I found out that to properly remove all air from 
the front calipers you have to remove the mounting bolts and twist them 90 
degrees. The bleed screw is only on one side and air remains trapped on the 
other side. You'll see what I mean when you look at the front caliper. Do 
that and bleed the front again. If that doesn't help get a new MC.
