Yeah, the Illinois law says that antique plated vehicles are exempt from 
inspection....  But the catch is that you are "technically" only allowed to 
drive the car to and from car shows, special events, and maintinance.  But, 
I doubt a cop is gonna pull me over and say "Hey!  I see you have antique 
plates...  You better be on your way to a car show!"  Hee hee...
