[DML] Re: DeLorean in Broadway Musical?

Greg - The fascia, grill, spoiler, headlights, and other various bits
and pieces were supplied by DeLorean Parts Northwest. You are correct
in assuming that the sheet metal was non-DeLorean. Some of the parts
were new, but the others were used parts that would have required some
refurbishment before use on a real car. The scale looked off because
the entire front end could only be 19 inches deep, so the front hood
and windshield were - shall we say - abbreviated? The seats and
outside mirrors were made from scratch using real DeLorean parts as a
model. The facility where the stage props were made is awesome. The
manager gave me a great tour of the place. They were very appreciative
that we were able to supply most of the parts necessary to create a
relatively real looking DeLorean. You just never know what's going to
happen when the phone rings.
