I'm still running the original Motorola.

I do very little stop and go driving in the D. Since it's a weekend
car, it spends 70% of it's time on the freeway cruising in 5th, even
in the summer. Could the stop & go traffic driving contribute to the
failures? Anything is possible I suppose.
