I also live in the hot & humid zone.
But I went ahead and wired up the heaters because sometimes if I do leave it 
out overnight or work late there is much condensation that won't get off.
I plan on putting my defrost switch back together and making the heaters run 
off that switch. I know Stephen Card did the same thing, and that just makes 
sense. 
Except for the diagram to put the defrost switch back together, that did 
not. I'll get to that again soon.
