[DML] Re: Cold start need help



Somehow you do not have the starter wired up correctly. The W/R wire
should make the starter run all by itself without the need to ground
any other wires. You may not have the correct solenoid or somehow the
wiring to the starter has been modified. You need to get the wiring
diaghram and go over the starter wiring circuit, the cold start valve
wiring, the neutral start relay, and the primary ignition starter
bypass wiring. Start by checking for power on the W/R wire when you
move the key to the start position. If you do have power at the
starter then the solenoid is not being grounded properly. It should
not have to be grounded through the cold start system.
