[DML] Re: Shade Tree Mechanic Otterstadt Switch



The otterstadt switch is in the pipe just to the left of the dipstick.
It is in the bottom of the pipe and you can see it easier from
underneath. Just use a paper clip, straighten it out, and stick it
into both the wires on the switch. If that doesn't make the fans run
check the relay, the bypass, or the circuit breaker. Make sure the
header bottle is 1/2 full and the system is bled. If the pump is full
of air it cannot pump the hot coolant past the switch.
