[DML] Re: Burnout and new sound

I've also burned out with my car on a painted garage floor about a
week after purchasing it. I seem to remember not having any trouble
doing so, and I didn't notice any weird engine sounds afterwards.

My situation was a little different though, you see, I was just
learning to drive a manual transmission, and at the time that I
dropped the clutch while it was in gear - I was about 10 feet from the
wall. Luckily I got on the brakes quickly enough :)

at all that would be causing it, but you are right - it is exactly
like a resonance of some kind. I'll drive it tonight and see if I
percieve it being there still.
