[DML] John DeLorean's Legacy

Like many others I was shocked and saddened of the news of John DeLorean's passing. I had always admired his passion and vision in the automaking industry and the DMC 12 was and is the car I would choose if I had any choice of vehicles regardless of year or price. Perhaps the biggest compliment towards his creation is how people still marvel over the car almost 25 years after its' creation. I drove mine 40 miles to work on Monday in remembrance of John and had a crowd of people around it asking questions as I was getting ready to leave. I cannot think of any other car from 1981 that still turns as many heads as a DeLorean-how can it ever be considered a failure when people are still captured by its' presence over 2 decades later?
Thank you Mr. DeLorean for daring to dream and my biggest regret with being a DMC owner is that I never had the chance to shake your hand and tell you my feelings in person.
