[DML] Re: Carburator (Bob Brandys)

Don't get carried away -- we are definitely in the minority. What we
consider rational transportation choices are predominantly viewed as
"old fashioned" or "outdated". And that's not necessarily a bad thing:
if every motorist thought as we do there would be a lot of unemployed
auto manufacturers, dealers, and mechanics. Plus the pool of remaining
vehicles for us would be much smaller.

What amazes me is the number of people who presume to tell me what to
do with my own cars when their names don't even appear on my titles.

For the record: I have been contacted by at least six other DeLorean
owners who want to experiment with carburetion. I did not contact them
-- they contacted me. And their cars are titled in THEIR names. Other
List members really have no say in the matter. They obviously have
opinions (oh boy, do they have opinions!), but this small group of
owners is free to do with its cars as it wishes.
