Windshield washer fluid injection was used on the turbocharged version 
of the oids 215 aluminum V8 which is the forunner of the Rover V8. It 
was one of the first US engines to achieve 1 HP per cubic inch. It was 
a stock option from the factory.

These cars are still around and occasionally come up for sale, They 
were a blast to drive.
