Re: [DML] Instrument light

The instrument cluster illumination rheostat has a high failure rate. To
temporarily restore your instrument lighting access the under side of the
shifter panel and locate the wires leading to the rheostat. You will notice
an unused rheostat terminal, unplug one of the wires from the adjoining pair
and plug it into the unused terminal. This should restore your instrument
illumination to full brightness until you can replace the defective
rheostat.
