Here is the solution to your question. If you are on the DMC.TV page simply right click on the link you want to save and select "Add to favorites". If you have already entered the linked web site from DMC.TV right click on a blank part of the page and select "Add to favorites".

Whenever I find a DMC site that I want to save to my favorite places 
it will only save the dmc.tv site. I have tried different approches 
but it always brings me to the dmc.tv site. (Nothing against the 
dmc.tv site, but I don't need ten of them in my favorite places.
