Recalls (was: Installing new fronnt springs & Front end recall ki ts)

***** Moderator's Note *****
Contact any of the DeLorean parts vendors for a complete list of the
various recalls issued by the factory. You can also look at the
DeLorean FAQ and the Publications section of teh DMC News website
at www.dmcnets.com

I'd like to find a listing of all DeLorean recalls, their importance, how to
tell if they have been performed, where to purchase & how difficult to
install. Is anything like this available? It would really help us soon-to-be
owners with the purchasing & "post-purchase-attention" processes.

Subject: [DML] Installing new fronnt springs & Re. Front end recall kits

<"There are two front-end recalls - one for ball joints and
one for the roll bar/crumple tube strengthening. The ball
joint recall is the more serious of the two.">

Where can I get these recall kits from, does anyone know the part
numbers?, are they fairly easy to fit?, also how do I know if my
DeLorean has had the ball joint recall, if someone could upload some
pitures of B4 and after to the files section I would be most
greatfull.

on Anouther note, does anyone have any advice on installing the front
springs, I have brought some new lower springs and was wondering if
anyone had any advice on installing them. I have installed suspension
springs on anouther car B4 and Io have the nessasary equipment but if
any one has and advice it would be most appreciated.
