Don't even attempt this on the fuel distributor unless you really 
want to buy a new one.

When I removed my fuel distributor it was really hard to do and I was 
able to loosen the srews by placing a screw driver (same size of the 
screw) into the head of the screw and gave it a couple of quick hard 
shots to it with a hammer. Loosened them enough that I was able to 
break them free by hand and not damage anything.

You can try an air impact gun to loosen them or better yet (cheaper 
and safer) buy yourself an impact screw driver. Works with a hammer 
and is the same principle of an air impact gun...just follow the 
instructions on how to use it. It's the best tool to have in your 
tool box so you won't be throwing money away on a single use, it will 
loosen just about any stuck screw (phillips or flat head). They 
usually run from $20.00 and up (the impact screw driver that is)
