I've been drooling over that Delorean all weekend. I would have bid on it,
but I can't be 100% certain that I'll have the money in a couple of weeks
when it comes time to pay. Looks like a real gem. For those of you who
didn't check out the link, this was a ~38K mile car, and the owner used to
be a professional Delorean mechanic. Car looked immaculate all around. He
had yellow neon under the car below the doors, and another small neon bar in
the rear window (inside the car). Full custom stereo system with a nice
subwoofer, and a blue neon amp on the shelf behind the seats. The entire
system (including the neon) was modular and could be pulled out, leaving no
bolt holes or other damage on the vehicle if you wanted to return it to
stock.

All in all, I came real close to buying it, except for the little problem
that I'm not sure how I'd pay for it just yet. :)

The high bidder came within a few hundred bucks of the guy's reserve price,
so my guess is they made a deal offline and it's sold. Does anyone know who
bought it?
