Battery Blues

Last week I posted a message about putting in my
TankZilla and then having the voltage meter on tha
dash read almost zero.... thinking there was a ground
or the alternator went out.

Today I went and restarted the car, ofcourse, my baby
started right away, and sure enough, gauge was almost
0 and dropping....

For shits and grins I turned on the headlights and it
killed the car....

I went to RadioShack and picked up a
battery/alternator tester...

The battery reads 11 volts.. and according to the
Radioshack docs (which are rather lame) means the
battery is bad...

since its reading 11 volts, can that mean the battery
is just dead - or is the battery really bad?

I will check the list first thing in the morning, but
i am going to go buy a new battery most likey in the
morning and try my luck.... a car with 4k miles
shouldnt have a prob with the alternator, and all the
belts are new.
