The bottom line is this: If you have a concours car, it is likeley 
NOT a daily driver so saftey is not a huge issue. Most cars are 
trailored to shows just for viewing pleasure or they are driven 
around for like a total of a Half hour at times. The saftey issues on 
the Delorean could be temporarily bypassed until the car reached it's 
final destination to be judged (such as disconecting the original 
Lock module, removing the fan fail relay and using a jumper wire with 
fuses...etc...) then replaced/plugged back in with all of the 
original items once it was parked and ready to be judged.
