Re: [DML] early ulster car

RIA 7122, RIA 7123, were the two first cars ever to be made in Northern
Ireland, one was an auto one was manual, there were the first "test cars"
they were driven around the clock by volunteer members of the Ulster Car
club, that had no heaters or other creature comforts, they were just used to
see what would break or pack up first. A friend of mine Brendan from
northern Ireland was one of the team, I have a copy of his driving licence
singed by Mike Loasby, dated 20th Jan 1981, and a photo of him at the wheel
of RIA 7123. I assume that 7124, 7125 were the next one's off. I don't know
what the chassis numbers are, but I believe the car in the Ulster Folk and
Transport Museum is one of this early batch.
