Once I got my car on the road, and worked all of the minor bugs out (all the 
common updates needed), it has performed like any other reliable foreign car 
I have ever owned. My car sat for 9 years too, so it needed a lot of 
attention. But once I got everything done, all of my expenses have been for 
aesthetic purposes, and not mechanical. Any D can be reliable. It's a good 
car, with a bad rep because of all of the garage queen cars out there. When 
they sit, like any car, they will develop problems. It's too bad that so 
many D's are sitting. If the majority of the cars out there are sitting, 
then that high number of cars will most likely have reliablity problems. 
Hence, a large number of complaints, which equals a bad rep. Does that make 
sense? I think most of you get what I'm saying... DRIVE THE CAR!!!! :oP
