[DML] Interior light fader?

Hello all,
We all know that the interior light has a delay function which make the 
light stay on a few seconds before shutting off.

Now, on a friends BMW I noticed a very nice function. The interior light 
faded slowly instead of shutting off suddenly.

Can anyone tell me what's involved in getting this function to the DeLorean 
interior light? I would guess that all it takes is a little gizmo in a wire 
somewhere. Since I have the roof panels out now, this would be the perfect 
time to do this modification. I highly recommend the fader function. It is 
so great! :)
