[DML] Re: Engine Cove Hinge



To remove/tighten the hinges you need;

1. Phillips head screwdriver

Removal of rear shelf.
Disconnect the cargo net from hooks.
Remove the "hooks" that secure the rear cargo net to the rear carpeted 
vertical shelf.
Note how screws attach to the hooks.
Note how the hooks attach to the rear shelf.

Remove the hooks, lay to the side, and GENTLY pull the vertical unit forward. 
NOTE, work around the boot release handle.
The very long and fragile trim panel above the rear shelf could/should be 
removed.

Upon removal, locate the two nuts that secure the hinge. ((You will have to 
look up inside this removed area. The nuts could be loose and laying on the 
floor of the removed area)).

Reverse the process to attach the vertical shelf.
