 Quite possible answer :

Someone got there door lock adjustment sheet and wrote the date on it
.... then later when they were using that to adjust the locks they
forgot it in your door.

Or the flux capacitor malfunctionned and only your door travelled in
time....
(okay someone day to do it with all the date references)
