[DML] Re: Interior Lights not coming on

Your non functioning interior and door light s are all controlled by the wires you said are disconnected. There are two pairs of wires on the drivers side only. One pair is for the courtesy lights the other is for thekey buzzer. Without looking for wire colors all you need to do is jump each pair of wires to test and identify which pair controls which circuit. On the passenger side just plug the wires into the door plunger switch.

Your dimmer control (rheostat) is defective, order a replacement from your favorite De Lorean parts dealer; ask for part # 100814.

Subject: [DML] Interior Lights notcoming on

Hi,  I'm getting things fixed on my D finally, next on the list are the
interior lights.  The only ones currently working are the Dash lights
(white ones above spedo, and other gagues), glove box light, and the
center temperature control lights.  The doors, and all other interior
lights don't work.  The dimmer control doesn't control anything, it just
spins freely.  The door lights are disconnected, which brings another
question, why are there 4 wires on each side, with only 2 connections.
There are 2 sets of 2 wires that go to each door.  Where do these lights
gets hooked up at?   Has anyone had this same problem?
Thanks,
Mike Schaefer
