[DML] Center Armrest removal

I will be getting a new center armrest soon and I attempted to remove
the old one today. It seems that it's not as easy as it first seemed.
Do you really have to remove the entire center console so you can get at
the 4 nuts holding the piece in place? If so, is this difficult? or
is there a handy-dandy special tool that can get in there without having
to dismantle the console. The space from the ashtray is pretty small so
I would guess I'm going to have to remove it, or at least raise it high
enough to get at those pesky 4 nuts. The manual does seems to be
pretty straight forward but as with most things, it may be deceiving.

Are there any bolts holding the console in from the bottom of the car?
