[DML] advice

Hi there,

I am looking at purchasing a Delorean from a guy who lives in Melbourne 
Australia.

He has his D for sale for $35,000 AUS.

I am wandering if it is a good buy or not. He has told me that it has done 
around 25,000km and has been garaged for around 4 years. He apparently had a 
friend who imported it from the US, and bought it off him. Its still left 
hand drive and is not registered here.

I asked about the condition and he said it only has a small ding on the back 
LHS panel. The interior is great and it runs well.

I mentioned that if i got it i was going to restore it back to original 
condition, by he told me that it is in really good condition and that it 
needs no work. All that it needs is a new fuel pump, as he hasnt driven it 
for years and its all clogged up.

My next step is whether i can import a cheaper one from OS or buy his one. 
He was going to auction it at a local Auction, so i feel there is plenty of 
room for negotiation. I was thinking of offering him $25,000 cash.
