[DML] "The Hood"

Has anyone ever took there DeLorean to a metalcraftsmen and had bodywork
done.
My DeLorean is showing the X in the hood pretty bad. I talked to Don Steger
and asked him if his body man could remove them. He said, your the first
person to ask me to remove them. And he suggested to just buy another hood,
as so did Warren at DMC houston. I have an early hood with the gas flap and
I 'd really hate to discard it.
Has anyone ever attempted this or came up with a solution.
I also heard that in aerospace facilities to remove dents in stainless or
aluminum they rubbed liquid nitrogen or dry ice in the center of the dent
and work your way outward to remove it. True or False
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
