[DML] Buying my first....Question....

I'm going to be buying a DeLorean soon. Its an '81 with 11,000 miles, has been garaged its whole life, and has been setting in a garage for about seven years.
The guy who has it is the original owner, and when he got it he did'nt like the stainless silver so he painted it blue. I was wondering if anyone could tell me (aprox) what it should be worth and if the paint takes away from the value. Thanks.....Donnie
