Nice spin. The poll received 79 votes. There are 46 polls archived in
this forum. Out of those 46, only 8 have received more than 79 votes.
That makes this poll the 9th most popular in DMCNews' history. Not
quite the landslide you claim.

That said, I have to ask: What's with the political games around here?
Seems to me there is a subset of DeLorean owners who just love to play
politics. For example, when this poll first opened, it was private so
folks could vote without revealing their name. One of the moderators
made it public, likely to discourage others from voting.

I had second thoughts about voting in this poll purely based on it's
public nature. There are DeLorean vendors who refuse to sell parts to
certain people. Some have claimed the DeLorean Owner's Association
online store even prevents certain people from ordering. Now, I don't
believe DMCH does this at all, but nevertheless I'd hate to see a
needed part suddenly become unavailable to me because I voted in a
sensitive poll and pissed the wrong person off.

Do I care if someone from DMCH posed as a customer on this list,
praising their parts & service? Yeah, a little bit. It's shady and, in
my opinion, an unethical marketing tactic. Other companies play
similar games and nobody is surprised or even cares, but DMCH has
always felt more like a friend to me than some big faceless company.
So, if this is true, I'd be disappointed. Not angry, just disappointed.

Just remember one thing: We still need to hear DMCH's side of things.
So let's not cast judgement or turn this into a witch hunt, OK? DMCH
is on our side - they are the good guys. They've done more for us than
anybody else since the original DMC closed up shop. I've personally
spent a lot of money with them and will continue to do so in the
future. Maybe somebody there made a mistake, maybe not, but even if
they did we should forgive, forget and move on.
