Re: [DML] DELOREAN SAFETY



There was a DML member who died several years back in his. The details were very bad and I don't want to upset anyone by passing along the specifics, but that is the only one I can think of. I was in a very serious wreck in my first DeLorean and walked away from the crash. Go here to see pics of my car:

After my ordeal and hearing of others crashes in their DeLoreans I feel it's safe to say the DeLorean is an extremely safe car, even by today's standards. I think it's biggest downfall in todays world is it's size. I don't even want to imagine a head on collision between a DeLorean and a Hummer or Excursion. My collision was with a very large '81 Cadillac Fleetwood by the way (drunk driver).
