I was going to follow Dave's advice but I figured i would try the 8MM screws 
first (if it stripped, i would have to drill anyway).  i believe they are 
actually called 6M when you buy them at the store.  they probably won't strip if 
you are sure to screw them in all of the way first (or as far as they will go). 
 make sure you get nice long ones or you might run out of room.
