RE: [DML] Clutch Pedal

Willie,

Considering you work in a Maserati dealership I'm sure you have checked for
and not found any external leaks. The only likely cause is a leak at the
shut off port to the master cylinder reservoir. This is quite rare as the
only car I've ever seen this failure on is my own concours winning '83
garage queen. Of all the indignities! Be careful not to squirt Dot 4 in your
eye when checking for this and stop "riding" the clutch. :-)

Subject: [DML] Clutch Pedal
Sometimes I have my left foot just resting on the clutch pedal, no
pressure but just resting on it. I have noticed recently and has
caused me some alarm, that the clutch pedal just goes straight to the
floor, without the clutch disengaging.
Any reason for the the clutch pedal to lose pressure and just fall to
the floor?

Thanks
Willie
