[DML] lower control arms bent? central PA owners?

Hi,

This may be an obvious question, but on both of my front lower control
arms, on the rear side of them, the metal has a "wavy shape."  Are
they supposed to be like this?

Secondly, I'm going to be on spring break from March 5th until March
14 if any owners in central PA would like to get together for a tech
session or to compare notes.  I like to check out other cars
occasionally because often I find that my car may be missing parts I
never realized were supposed to be there.  Should have nice weather,
too.
