I am Done... I should have more faith in myself.
Here are my notes from the field, for posterity and those also thinking of
doing it themselves.
I used a Crimestopper 2001FC. It's good model though certainly not top of
their line; but it is reputable. I initially bought it based on the two
auxiliary remote outputs, though I found it was unnecessary. This does,
however, leave me with room to add remote start or bonnet unlatch if I get
my springer fixed on the trunk(bonnet).
Basically, I used the secondary unlock circuit (or passenger unlock
circuit)
that was designed for non-central locking systems to un-latch my driver's
side door. It is activated by a second press of the disarm+unlock button.
The aux out #1 (trunk pop) unlatches the passenger door.
I used the solenoid ground wire method. It is a bugger to track ground
wires
down, I'll tell ya. Basically-- disconnect everything in the door and the
two harness joints at the rear of the cabin behind the removable
rear-wall.
The LH solenoid wire ended up coming into the relay/fuse center from the
RH
bundle; it was the lone ground wire, not in a pair. The RH solenoid ground
wire came through in the LH bundle. Two ground wires are side by side
there-- you'll have to test with an ohm meter or continuity tester.
I bought some SPAL actuators at Car Toys because I couldn't wait to order
Darryl Tinnerstets. They may not be strong enough; they were kind of iffy
at
first but I didn't have any problems at all today (and I made lots of
trips
out for myself and coworkers). I mounted them straight back from the lever
that is attached to the inside handle and connected right where the cable
from the outside handle connects. It seemed like the best spot. I bent the
linkages in nice clean angles to avoid other pieces.
It may not be the best-- that would be Darryl's; his is long tested and
more
professional than mine. But it is working!
other things to note-- don't hook your "ignition wire" up to the AC fan
relay! When I flipped the AC on my alarm started chirping as the fans
kicked
in and stole power! Pretty funny....

It's a litlle block with a clamp that attaches to the wiper arm, to direct
a
jet of windshield washer fluid onto the windshield. Unlike cars that use
two
fixed jets hidden in the air intake grille, the DeLorean only needs one
jet
since it sweeps back and forth on the wiper arm. I broke the clamp on mine
by
mistake and did a temporary fix by reattaching it with two tiny black
cable
ties. The part is still available, last I heard.

I just completed the job of lowering my car using the PJ Grady set up.
All I can say after some short driving trips is "WOW"! The shocks are
light years ahead of the tired OEM 20 year old items. The ride/handling is
excellent and the car looks much better IMO.
It no longer has the front high look and the tires/wheels fill the wheel
well really nicely.
I also performed a complete brake overhaul including new rotors.
With that I have free for the cost of shipping:
2 OEM Front Springs (33K miles on the car at time of removal, same for
rotors.)
3 Rotors (Can be cut again, I ordered all new ones blindly that I really
didn't need.)
The drivers side rotor was stuck because of a bad wheel bearing and took
some "persuasion" to remove so it's pretty beat up.
Both Cables for the emergency brake (THESE ARE BRAND NEW) My E-Brake only
needed new pads and an adjustment.
I bought them blind as well, my over anxiousness is your gain, I know I
could probably just return them for credit but I'd rather help somebody
out who might really need them.

The Wiper Arm Jet Part # 100806 can be located in your parts manual at
3/6/1
fig 19. As pictured it is attached to the passenger side wiper arm. When
the
washer is activated the jet distributes windshield cleaning fluid to the
windshield as the arm sweeps across the glass.
This part has a high failure rate because it is constantly exposed to the
elements. Fortunately this item is in stock and relatively inexpensive.
