I'm aware of Scot, Fil, Gordon, and me (duh!). I think there are a few
other Delorean folks here in the San Diego area. If any of you are out
there and feel like revealing your secret identies ;), please contact me
at: DMCox (at) Delorean.com

I'm trying to plan a little get-together, so I'd love to hear from anybody
in driving distance (I don't want to exclude anyone from the LA area that
is willing to come on down)

Thanks,
Dave

Are there any owners out there on the list who live in the Stockton/
Modesto/Turlock area of California and would be willing to get
together to discuss DeLoreans? Feel free to contact me at
RJRavalli@xxxxxxxx I know I'm not the only one in the area, but
if any other owners around here read this list please let me know!

Thanks,

Richard

together
a great show this past weekend. And another thanks definitely has to go
to
Dan <Danrc30(AT)hotmail.com> If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been
able to attent this great event. All in all it turned out great!
Everyone
had Rob Grady workin all weekend on their cars...LoL. Man, even on

If you go to any AACA sanctioned car show you cannot be on the show
field without a fire extiguisher. It looks odd to see all of the
motorcycles and scooters lined up for display each one having a fire
extiguisher laying on the ground next to it. In a Delorean it could
also have another use, If you can turn over the car you can use it to
knock out the windshield!

It sounds like you could have a problem in the lambda system of which
the frequency valve is a part. At idle you should hear a loud buzzing
noise from the frequency valve. If it is quiet then check the lamda
relay and or all of the inputs to the "black box" ecu that contols
the
lamda system including the oxygen sensor, throttle switch, power, and
grounds.

For a good diagnosis, it would help to have the following questions
answered:
1) Do you hear the frequency valve buzzing?
2) What is the condition of your alternator? I know this sounds
unrelated,
but if you have a Ducellier or an otherwise weak alternator, it may not
put
out enough juice at idle to keep the car running well -- especially after
sitting at a stop light with the radiator fans pulling the battery down.
Watch the volt meter on your dash, and you will find out if this is your
problem. Anything under 11 volts is a definite problem.

It sounds like you are describing a weak alternator not putting out enough
current at low RPM's.

Hope this helps,
Walt Tampa, FL

Rats...
Seems I'm a little bit late for the normal registration price.
Maybe I can get out there on a 'late booking'. I'll certianly try.
Thank you very much for the information and link, It's appreciated.

                               Luke
