God, really?  No.  This is all too depressing.

I've already had to fill in the naughty book at the petrol station this 
morning for not having my wallet on me.  What a numpty!  I suspect today 
won't get any better!  Early indications are not good!

Besides, you can turn just the hot on, on a mixer tap!!

re. break in etc - my folks have been having similar trouble at home 
(vandalsim if car etc) recently, so unless things improve I might need to 
ask someone about these motion-activated camera/ videoing systems...  Never 
used to be like that when I lived there...
