[doc] Re: Gearbox



hi

i don't know about the renault gearbox, but i do know a fair bit 
about early mx5's and they had a similar problem (and i think my 
1982 Baur BMW 320 a few years ago). cold changing to first.

usually went away with a gearbox oil change, particularly if a 
different type was used (can't remember what to change it too 
though..sorry).Yours could have the original oil so 25 years old as 
not many think to change it.

Perhaps Martin knows more about this?
