Re: [doc] Re: Injector Cleaner

The accummulator is in the fuel line prior to the filter so any crud will always accumulate (cough-cough) here.

I got myself a CIS k-jetronic fuel injector tester from ebay.
  . Looks like this one:

If they aren't up to the pressure, get some new ones...

(Notice the paint thinner for cleaner !)

Not had chance to have a play with it yet, that thing called work getting in the way again.............

Make sure your fuel lines and filter are fairly clean or all the
sh*t thats in your fuel system gets dumped at the end of the line (
the injecors) and you'll be wishing you had just left well alone.

Years ago I put redex injector cleaner in my D whilst down in Kent
and by the time I had driven back to Colchester, 100 miles or so, I
had lost 2 cylinders and it was running horribly. The final straw
was being overtaken by a Hawaii Taxis LDV minibus on the way home.

At home I tested the injectors and nearly all of them where shagged,
spraying badly/dripping etc... thankfully after a new of injectors
everything was fine again.

Your money is better spent on a good dose of Shell petrol, experts
always rave about the detergent package in Shell fuels. Use good
fuel all the time and you'll never need injector cleaner.

Just my 2p
