Parts SHOULD not be so much of an issue as MG Rover sold that side of the business to a US company called Caterpillar a few years back. I assume that company is Xpart.

MG Rover were plagued with supply problems even when cars were in production. There was a few instances of the production lines being stopped for several days so they could rob parts from unfinished cars to supply Main dealers where customers cars had been off the road, in some cases for several weeks.

Xpower forum is also quite a good place to get information and talk to people in the know regarding MGR ... http://forums.xpowerforums.com/
