Hi John,

I'm pretty sure Martin's ones have the air brake at the top. You might have seen them fitted to SOA 82Y at the NEC this year.

Claire Usher brought my door struts back from the 'states in 2003. I think they were a batch from DMCH at the time. My doors are set up so that in the cold weather they stay exactly where you put them and they're really light. This wasn't intentional, but it's kinda cool and I do remember seeing some footage of the launch party for the DMC-12 at the Geneva hotel where you can see the same effect on the prototype car! :-)
