[doc] Re: Off topic - WOTEVA, AM I HOUVERED?

Funny thing this car tax, certainly on big value /CO2 emmission cars
the tax you have to pay is getting silly, my last car a TD4
Freelander has quite a high emmission and year after year my tax has
been going up. Hence this time along with my accountant, ive done my
homework and picked a EuroIV compliant/ low co2 emmission car.

Therefore i now have more cash spare to pamper my D with :)...I
wonder what C02 emmission that has ?

My Stylish (Martin  :) )Citroen C4 maybe not everyones cup of tea to
look at but for handling, fuel ecomony and with the power of the 2.0
HDI engine its fantastic in my book, and after test driving the new
shape Focus, Astra and Meganne the build quality is light years away
from them. Whilst i agree it will probably fall into pieces in ten
years time, there is a large gulf between the cost of this and shall
we say more 'executive' brands.

A 'cash equivalent' in lieu of having  a company car would have to be
a large chunk of money to be financially viable but certainly when
you have your own car thats paid for and getting a good mileage
allowance then you can turn out a very nice tidy profit :)

Nice to see you can clean your own cars now Nick, i must have trained
you well ..... your Astra will be winning classic car trophys
next! :) :)

Looking forward to Sunday!

Regards

Mike
