[doc] faulty ecu help?

hi

finally getting to the root of my running problems.
now have intake manifold reinstalled. car did the same, ran for 30 
secs then gets bogged down and stalls but if i remove the idle speed 
motor cable, then the car idles ok at 1800 revs.
so to fault find do i need to check the earth to the ecu, the diode, 
the feed from the coil and the motor and the ecu.
i connected the cable back, statred and engine started to stall 
after 20 seconds, i then pulled the cable of and engine slolwy 
picked back up to 1800 revs.
therefore is the idle speed motor working but the ecu is feeding it 
duff info and making it too lean or rich?
anyone any good ideas? and Martin, if i parcel posted the ecu to you 
are you able to fully test? or plug into another car?. if i was near 
you i'd book the car in1.
