[doc] Re: cleaning up the manifold

Hi

have tried jif on the manifold...does not touch it.

now have tried gunk, meths, acetone, panel wipe, alloy wheel 
cleaner, water!, ajax powder, abrasive pad for pans.

beginning to think that it is all corrosion, but black deposits.

any more ideas??. do i need to bead blast and paint (but does not 
paint have difficulty adhereing to this metal?.

and was a bit worried about bead blasting as if beads get inside 
they may get lodged somewhere but come out in use...into the engine.

i want to get it back on Friday so any advice would be very 
appreciated.

i gather o rings seat well in dialectric grease?.
