Re: [doc] Re-Brushing The Stainless Panel (with the panels still on) - Anyone ?

Ive found a couple of "Against the grain" scratchs on my D. If you're carefull, you can use a scotch bright cleaning pad, applying equal (But light) pressure whilst running with the grain. If you apply too much pressure you will leave "Lift off" scratchs on the stainless. Ive done this to a quite a few light scratchs and one fairly deep scratch with very good results.
There is someone in the club (I Think) that can put the grain back into your panels, but I think it is quite expensive, and not really nececsary if you take care ....and take your time.

Has anyone on the forum re-brushed their Stainless panels ?

My panels are in good condition except for a variety of 'against the
grain' scratches that become really visible in direct sunlight.

Using a metal shield or guard (for those plastic, glass and fascia
bits) I'm guessing a re-brush job could be done with the panels still
  on.

Anyone got any suggestions / experience in this ?
