And was converted to fit the DeLorean inside. The van originally had a door on the back which was removed and replaced with a tailgate.
I think the vans intended use was a cold storage transport or something.

  speaking of other screencars like that.. how available are the big GMC
  trucks like DOC's big ass white van that the delorean appeared from
  when we first saw it.. anybody know the model/value??
