Hi Alistar
Im sure that the leak mid way along the car and under the radiator
is not a leak from the pump but only way to really  check is dry out
all other the areas and go back after a little while and feel for
where the leak is coming from, water tends to leak and run along the
pipes / bodywork and appear to be leaking from other sources, FWIW
im in the middle of a pump swap and hose under the manifold
replacement, also going to do all of the hose sections underneath
the car at the same time ( my raditor is going to get refurbished at
the same time just to complee the job... whilst its winter great
time to do such a naff job !)
Either way its a problem that can be fixed
Regards
Mike

where the two pipes that run the length of the car are and a small
splash under the right hand side of the radiator.

just that old that the seals just had to go sometime and decided to
go together?
