Re: [doc] Was: Socket Now: Bath...

Thanks to Steve (anf family) for being the hostess-with-the-mostest !

We had a great time in Bath and had chance to do some sight-seeing. PMT 250X (Del-Boy) made it from Wakefield (nr Leeds) to Bath and Back with no problems at all ! I must be lucky.

It was nice to see a few fellow club members and meeting others who are interested in the cars. It was great being at the back of the convoy as we saw peoples reactions and got a load of thumbs up and amased stares !

Cheers All,

Nick and Kathryn.

PS. Dan, I forgot to pick up my 32mm normal and 30mm deep impact wrench sockets and my 1m breaker bar before I left. Any chance you can post them to me?

My works address is:

Alternatively, if you decide the tools are useful and you want to keep them then you can buy them from me !

To Dan,

You'll have to get the car to bath, I've got a 32mm Impact socket. It's a virgin one at that, never been used ! I've also got a 1m long breaker bar that I'm bringing along as well.

For damp, magical WD40 has never let me down, spray it on the coil, ht leads, under the leads round the spark plugs, on earth connections etc. To prevent damp around the plugs I always use copper grease on the threads of the plugs. This prevents damp getting in in the first place. It also stops the corrosion between the alloy and the steel making it easier to remove them later on.

Good luck,

Nick.

To Dan,

We all get them. I seem to have mine when I get to work. I'll have a look tonight and chuck it in the car if I have one.

Nick.
