How are you all doing? There has been some
radiosilence for a while, but now we would like to contact you about further
information on the autumntour wich the Dutch Delorean Club is
organising.
We have worked out a nice program.On
friday people can check in the Hotel (near Amersfoort wich is the center of
Holland). There is no particular agenda set on friday, so people can come any
time and nobody can be late. We just meet and can have some drinks in the
evening.
On saturday we have a tour. We will drive
in little units. We will have lunch and after that we will a fortress.In
the evening we have diner all together. On sunday the main event will be a full
range classic event we attend to.
There will be hundreds of classical cars. A
tour and a big meet and greet on the huge square this particulary city (Almere)
has.
Details will follow offcourse. At the
moment we are bussy to build a page on our website in English so you can check
it out for yourselve soon.
Now the time has come to make an estimate
about the numbers of people joining. To be able to handle all things I would
like to institute "countrymanagers" I thought you (Martin, Michael and Cyril) would be just the
right people for that.
I will contact Stian Birkland aswell and
see if there could be a deligation from the North.
I think we the best thing to do
is:
We finish this informationpage on our site
(very soon). After that I will contact you again. You could inform your
clubmembers (by your egroups or clubmagazines or so). People would be able to
check it out. Offcourse you could wake up the people right now, so they are
stand by!
Then there should be estimates made about
the number of people joining. We need this numbers so we will be able to finish
the organisation-job for our event.
Please give me a reaction on the
"countrymanagers" thing. I thought you were the most likely persons but maybe
someone else should do it.
