I was there too, there did seem to be an air of excitement come over the
audience when the lot came up.

I too did not drive away in her. I wonder who it did?

The car did need a bit of work, cosmetically it needed new weather seals on
the hood and round the doors, the gas had gone in the passenger door and
there were a few annoying dings in some of the panels.

Out of interest, does anyone use a Carcoon for their car?

Was at Bonhams, lots of interest in the Right Hander, achieved £18500
on the Hammer + 15% Buyers Premium so you're about right John.

A few club members were there, but I don't know who actually bought
it - certainly wasn't me for that money - far too rich for my blood.

Although not wanting to leave empty handed, I have just arrived home
after driving back my new purchase - a beautiful '75 Jaguar XJ6 4.2
Coupe !

The collection is growing, need to find some more space !
