This is adjusted on the two link rods. But as long as the linkage
doesn't hit the casing on the gearbox, or the stick hit the surround,
then we've found they're all different anyway. The pivot bolt is just
that - it's not adjustable. When it comes loose however, you will hear a
rattling under your elbow if you wiggle the stick forward and back while
in neutral.

BTW Chains are around £12 from Renault and have the proper marks on
them. We have (some) gasket sets and would have beaten your Volvo price :-)
